Akumu Ink is a Montreal based t-shirt company that launched February 2008. We gather our inspiration from Japanese horror movies, the hardcore music scene, and black and white indie comic books. Akumu is Japanese for Nightmare. We were playing around with the concept of letting our ideas flow from our dreams to a tangible state and came up with the name Akumu Ink.

We put a lot of effort into producing quality products for an affordable price. Each shirt is printed by us upon order and individualized for each of our customers with customized toe tags (hang tags) and a special Akumu Ink print on the bottom back. When wearing our label you should feel like a rock star. That’s why we print bold oversized graphics on tote bags and very comfortable American Apparel t-shirts.
