1. How Do I buy a shirt?

1-Check out the main page, all our designs are available to you there. Just click on the image of the item you want to buy, or the name of the item, or the 'Buy Now' link.

2-When you find the shirt you want to buy click on the "Add to Cart" button.

3-Now a PayPal window will pop up. You have the choice to continue shopping or follow the steps to buy.

2. Do I need a PayPal account?

No.

-All you need to do is fill out your credit card info.

-Then fill out your mailing address so we can know where to send your shirt to.

-That's it!

We use PayPal because it's the safest choice for you. For other forms of payment read below.

3. Can I buy if I don’t have a credit card?

Here are our preferred payment options if you don't have a credit card. If any of this seems overwhelming, contact me directly and I'll walk you through it step by step:

Moneygram: Email me for a quote first! Once the amount is confirmed you can fill out a moneygram form at your local post office. Forward the following information to me: your name, your city, and the reference number (you will receive this number when completing the form). Then you're done! I can print your order right away.
Money Order: Email me for a quote first! As soon as I receive your money order (approx. 7 days) we will email you to let you know we got it and send your items right away.
Personal Cheques: Email me for a quote first! Once we get your cheque in the mail we'll let you know (approx. 7 days). After your cheque has cleared (approx. another 7 days) we will print and send out your items.
Interac Email Money Transfer: Email me for a quote first! This is for Canadian residents that are signed on to 'Interac Email Money Transfer' with their bank. Email me your security question and answer. As soon as the money comes through I will begin printing and sending out your items.

Please do not send cash in the mail.

4. Where do you ship to?

We ship within Canada, to the USA and internationally.

5. How much does shipping cost?

It costs only 4$ per tshirt for shipping in Canada and the US, and 8$ internationally.

Shipping a hoodie costs 10$ to Canada and the US, 15$ internationally.

For combined shipping: If you order things like pins and totebags along with your tshirts or hoodies make sure to email us first so you can save on shipping.

6. How long does it take to receive my item(s)?

Give us about 3 days to print and ship out your tshirt, hoodie or tote bag. For paintings allow a weeks time for us to hand paint the image.

Once the item is shipped:

Within Canada should take about a week or two.

To the U.S. about two to three weeks.

For international orders: If you have purchased your item after January 21 2009 we will be using a new shipping method that is estimated to take 2 to 3 weeks. For those who ordered before January 21 2009 your order could take up to six to eight weeks to get to you.

7. Do you accept returns?

We accept returns only if:

The item is defective or you received something other than what you ordered from us.

If any of the above apply to your situation, please email me here within 5 days of receiving your item.

We only accept returns of new, unworn and unwashed t-shirts, with the tag still intact. Contact us before sending back your item.

8. When can I expect to see new designs?

We are constantly introducing new designs and new items into our store every month. To find out when new stuff is coming or even if you want to ask me directly check out our blog and other social networking sites that I update on a daily basis.

9. Are the shirts printed just for me?

Actually, yes! Why buy mass produced items when you can have something so much more personal? All our tshirts, hoodies, and tote bags are printed custom to your order. Even our pins are hand pressed after you buy them. We screen print everything ourselves from the spare bedroom in our apartment. As soon as you purchase an item from AKUMUink.com we are notified, and proceed to print your shirt right away just for you.

10. Do you have to print the Akumu Ink logo on the back of the tshirts?

Finally in March 2009 we are now able to offer you the option to clearly ask for a logo or no logo on the back of your tshirts.

11. Can you tell me more about the free "limited edition" toy?

Our first 50 hoodies that were purchased came with a free Akumu Ink "Cannibal" paper toy. This item will never be reprinted or sold again. Thanks to everyone who got one.
